This is an overnight role, which requires availability between 10pm-7am.
Overnight Freight Team Associates are responsible for stocking products/merchandise and organizing the sales floor to create a pleasant and safe shopping environment.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
Verifying inventory, reading reports utilizing computer terminals and Home Depot portable phones Stocking merchandise onto shelves to achieve 100% in stock Maintaining aisle cleanliness Obtaining pick lists and gathering merchandise throughout the store to fill customer orders Communicating with other overnight team members to ensure all products are stocked accurately Moving freight safely from designated staging areas to overheads using the appropriate equipment as necessary

Position Purpose: Receiving Associates work as part of a team to unload merchandise from carriers and check the quantity and quality of merchandise. In addition they must RGR (Rough Goods Receipt)/ DGR (Detail Goods Receipt) and enter information about incoming merchandise into the stores’ computer system. All Receiving Associates are required to be licensed to use powered lift equipment (i.e., electric pallet jack, slip sheet machine, reach truck, order puller, forklift) which may be used when unloading trucks and moving freight from receiving to designated staging areas.

Full time position for Receiving/Stock Person. Must be in good physical condition to be able to carry and lift product up and down stairs and ladders. Duties include moving inventory to and from warehouse areas. Stocking Shelves, unloading stock truck, keeping warehouse areas, store areas, and receiving room organized and tidy. Assisting with carry outs and layaway orders. Receiving stock orders, scanning products, checking packing slips and inventory quantities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Load and unload materials and store them in the proper locations. This is accomplished using various equipment, including pallet jacks, lumber carts, etc. They must also greet and serve yard customers and be familiar with inventory, prices, returns and exchange policies.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load and unload materials.Take all necessary safety precautions when driving and handling freight, tools, and equipment.Identify and assist customers with advice and information, and help gather and load orders.
Pick Up or Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areasMix, pour and spread materials such as floor leveling compounds or feather finishAssist floor installersDrive floor installers to site if neededAssist in demolishing flooring using prying bars and other tools, and sort, clean and pile salvaged materialsRemove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipmentOperate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directedPerform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
