Job Summary:

The Account Manager assists Business Development with the purpose of maintaining strong business relationships with our partners, focusing but not limited to, host agencies and independent contractors. Responsibilities will also include managing and building relationships within a portfolio of accounts, qualifying advisors and communicating leads to Business Development Managers (BDMs), training advisors, strategizing, communicating data issues with our data teams, collaborate with internal stakeholder departments, assist in agency marketing strategies, maintain knowledge base in regards to consortia and hosted agencies within portfolio, increase Collette’s brand presence, attend partner conferences/functions with as required. Additionally, this position will manage accounts with the goal to increase sales and turn them into higher producing accounts.

Primary Functions:

  • Act as the main internal resource for the account portfolio.
  • Act as liaison between ICs/advisors and necessary business units to properly service the travel advisor.
  • Utilize qualifying tools to identify top advisors within portfolio and prioritize based on quality.
  • Educate ICs/advisors on current marketing initiatives, Collette product and sales tools.
  • Collaborates with VP of Strategic Accounts/Director of Strategic Accounts, Marketing and Outside Sales to maintain partnership knowledge.
  • Attends Travel Conferences and Events.
  • Provide consistent feedback to the Business Development team on frequent trends, issues and suggestions and help suggest and implement process improvements to make sales operations run more efficiently.
  • Execute special outbound marketing campaigns utilizing all communications tools available (i.e. social media, video, etc.)
  • Work with necessary data teams to assist with maintaining your portfolio database in CRM.
  • Work with the sales team on building a strategy to collaborate with key advisors.
  • Master of advisor policies, processes, and procedures including; commissions and comp strategies.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong phone presence in addition to experience with service and sales.
  • Excellent verbal, written and video communications skills.
  • Critical thinking skills required; must be able to solve problems on own.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated; takes initiative.
  • Excels in collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Have strong computer skills (i.e. MS office, social media platforms.)
  • Ability to adapt to changing work environments.
  • Availability to travel to conferences and sales meetings up to 25% of the time.
  • Capability to work remotely.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5years of experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
