SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Mammoet is seeking a dynamic and results driven individual to join our sales team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record building relationship with clients, increasing sales and providing solutions that benefit both the employer and the client. They must also be able to process basic contract management knowledge to the level of being able to negotiate terms and conditions with customers. With a knowledge and passion for the crane, heavy lift industry and transport industries, Mammoet is a natural fit! Knowledge in the renewable industry is considered an asset but not a requirement. You will bring energy and drive to our existing team, opening opportunities and expanding Mammoet’s business.


WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Sales
    • The intent of this role is to continue growth within the Wind Maintenance market and aim to secure / maintain framework agreements/MSAs with the key renewable’s customers.
    • New Wind Farm Construction
    • Fabrication
    • Emerging energy (e.g. Hydrogen) sectors within Western Canada.
  • Account Management
    • Manage existing key account profiles, determine top tier accounts and customers & ensure interactions, client engagements, trade shows and reporting activities are met.
  • Sales Planning
    • Strategically mapping existing and potential diversification areas of business development.
  • Contract Management & Negotiation
    • Enhancing negotiations in line with Mammoet terms, conditions, and key contracting principles.
  • Administration
    • CRM management
    • Bid preparation & review
    • Presentation to Local Management and higher tender boards if necessary
    • Bid submission and follow up
  • Additional
    • Estimating and creation of wind maintenance bid submissions
    • Working with innovations and renewables team
    • Work with Mammoet USA Renewable team with overlapping clients
    • Attend multiple conferences and site visits
    • Canada Wind Projects tracking and Wind Maintenance forecasting to help visualize where the work is and where the competition is situated.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • Strong English, fluent proficiency verbal and written skills
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Preferred:
    • Advanced experience in sales systems preferred.
    • Professional level experience in Heavy Lift and Transport operations and equipment, contract management practices and tender management.
    • Evidence of experience in a similar role, ideally in any/some of the following sectors: civil engineering, construction, renewables, oil and gas, offshore, ports and mining
    • Bachelor’s degree in a commercial or technical discipline

This will be a full-time position operating out of our Edmonton location on a full-time basis.
