Job Summary


The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring a positive client experience and high client retention rates by providing exceptional service and support. They will work closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and challenges, and will develop and execute customized marketing strategies to drive portfolio growth. The Account Manager will also provide sales systems and process support to the sales team, including managing and optimizing sales tools and resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, sales, and marketing, with a proven track record of achieving growth and retention goals. They must also possess excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities


The Account Manager, reporting to the General Sales Manager, will be responsible for completing tasks in the following areas:

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts and developing trustworthy relationships with clients
  • Acting as the point of contact and handling customers' individual needs
  • Building quarterly marketing strategies for each client to help them achieve their goals
  • Generating new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolving conflicts and providing solutions to clients in a timely manner
  • Reporting on the status of accounts, setting and tracking sales account targets aligned with company objectives, and making adjustments when necessary
  • Monitoring sales metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts
  • Suggesting actions to improve sales performance and identifying opportunities for growth

Required Experience & Skills


  • Proven experience in account management, with a track record of successfully managing client relationships, growing portfolios, and retaining clients.
  • Proven knowledge of marketing strategies and tactics, including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience with sales processes and systems, including CRM platforms, sales reporting, and sales enablement tools. Experience with Accelo, SalesForce, or Basecamp is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Understanding of managing client expectations and an expertise in under promising and over delivering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in marketing, business, or a related field.
