As a member of the TELUS Partner Solutions business unit responsible for bringing a world of possibilities to our customers and the best of TELUS to the connected world, you will be accountable for the development and closure of new strategic sales opportunity in bringing TELUS’ worldwide global connectivity capabilities to innovative existing and new players, developing and driving accounts engagement strategy, expanding executive relationships and building new business arrangements with potential customers inside and outside Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a large base of existing customers that represent the smaller, niche players in Partner Solutions
- Prospect for new customers
- Drive Partner Solutions strategic objective of business expansion in Canada and in the U.S. and channel external ideas into business plans and solutions implementation
- Initiate, develop & maintain relationship with key decision-makers with existing and prospective customers
- Uncover business opportunities for TELUS with Canadian and U.S. based industry players in telecommunications, Over The Top, UCaas, SIP and related advanced communications
- Close sales arrangement for profitable growth
- Develop engagement strategy and positioning of TELUS solutions, oversee the preparation of deal plans & collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Negotiate and drive contractual closure
- Analyze customer needs, drive opportunities for increasing revenue through a thorough understanding of customer business and market opportunities
- Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on funnel activities for the effective alignment of plans and business forecasts
- Members and structures findings/recommendations for a senior audience
- Embrace TELUS Premier Sales Organization practices for success
Qualifications

Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proven record of identifying business opportunities, promptly assessing risks and potential, drive the development of a strong mutually beneficial business arrangements
- Exceptional representation and negotiations skills
- High energy level and demonstrated drive to succeed in solutions selling, grow in untapped markets segments
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic account plans and executive level relationships in focussed areas
- Experienced verbal and written communicator internally and externally
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate and bring to closure a significant number of initiatives simultaneously
- Team collaborator; ability to express business requirements to internal groups in defining custom solutions and driving a plan to success
- Work effectively independently and virtually across time zones while leveraging functional team members and structure findings/recommendations for a senior audience
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment - comfortable with managing ambiguity
- Abreast of leading industry trends, assess market potential and competition
- Mastery of English language; bilingual or multilingual is an asset
- Advanced knowledge of standard business software (Google, MS Office)
Required Professional Designation/Certification:
- Business or technical undergraduate degree
Required Experience:
- 3+ years’ related telecommunications sales experience and client relationship position
- Consistent high performance against sales targets for complex solution selling arena
- Proven record of B2B solution selling and managing executive level relationships
