Client Manager-Government of Alberta

This position will be responsible for maintaining, sustaining, and building key relationships within the Government of Alberta; developing and building near term / long term strategies to ensure Xerox retention of current business and find / develop new opportunities for revenue expansion.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Nurture and foster client relationships with key stakeholders (from operational to executive) and senior client influencers / decision makers
  • Develop and execute a constant contact cadence with critical contacts within the Gov’t of AB
  • Effectively communicate with Gov’t of AB and targeted Agencies to position Xerox favorably
  • Guide assigned Xerox resources to areas of required focus to deliver an exceptional client experience
  • Engage C-suite, decision makers and influencers within key Alberta Gov’t Ministries, Departments, Agencies, and where applicable Crown Corporations
  • Develop an understanding of clients’ strategic objectives, goals, and critical success factors
  • Develop overall strategy for Xerox growth opportunities within the Gov’t of AB
  • Align Xerox’s overall capabilities, services and value propositions to key executive level contacts and decision-makers
  • Identifying business development opportunities and building relationships with potential core decision makers / influencers
  • Lead deal strategy and establishment of win themes C
  • As required, develop a detailed understanding of client’ internal functional operations, identifying areas of operational opportunity
  • Co-ordinate / facilitate Executive Exchanges, Workshops and Influencing activities to be lead by Xerox
  • Work with VP Western Canada to provide sales leadership through sales opportunity strategy, presentations, resources required, deal coaching and continuous best-practice sharing
  • Communication / update cadence with VP of Western Canada
  • As required, P&L line of site to identify areas of opportunity
  • Develop a strong understanding of the GoA procurement procedures and guidelines, and methods of supply
