Job Description
Tracing of freight which includes looking for missing freight, looking up POD'S and B/L'S, finding out when a shipment was delivered, etc.
• Exception reports for customers with dropped trailers – reporting to the shipper the next day by 0900 • Interline exception reports for all partner carrier’s US & Canadian, both northbound and southbound
- All ODFL requests, inbound and outbound, emails & phone calls
- Requests by customers and terminals via phone calls or emails
- Gathering information on shortages no pros, no goods, etc, and finding common issues to report to Supervisor.
- Calling the customer with exceptions to verify possible damages, shortages, re-routing, and various other duties as requested by the customer regarding delivery problems.
- Obtaining return authorizations from customers or authorizations to reroute or re-deliver as required. Obtaining phone numbers, confirming terms, etc.
- Camera checks for missing freight
- Answering emails within 45 minutes
- Dealing with upset customers
