Job Administrative Assistant in Toronto

What will I do?

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day client administration by providing support to various parties within the organization. This position plays a leading role in contributing to and enhancing the overall client experience.


Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Provide administrative support to various parties within the organization such as Directors, Executives and other staff members
  • Create a variety of reports including services, renewals, RTQs, sales, and implementation
  • Acquire, analyze, and authenticate the accuracy of all information provided efficiently
  • Handle client questions and any issues, ensuring they are resolved in a professional and timely manner
  • Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with clients and insurance carriers
  • Act as the liaison between the client and the insurance carriers
  • Maintain and update CRM with current information on the client
  • General administration duties as assigned

What we need from you:

  • 2+ years experience as an administrative assistant/benefits administrator
  • Superior time management skills and effective multi-tasking abilities with excellent prioritization
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Knowledge and experience in group benefits/group retirement services
  • Certification or designation (i.e. PPAC, CEBS, GBA, RPA etc.)
