Motor Vehicle Repair & Maintenance

We are currently recruiting for a Delivery Driver/Shop Helper to work at one of our Burlington, Ontario locations. Delivery Drivers are responsible for the efficient delivery of our products (both parts and accessories) to our customers. Shop Helpers are responsible for a variety of tasks to assist Technicians in the repair of customer vehicles. In this dual role the Delivery Driver/Shop Helper is expected to provide exceptional service to each and every customer, at all times.

Wage rate based on experience.

Description of Duties/Expectations:

  • Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Complete deliveries on a pre-determined route
  • Reports any vehicle problems to the Store Manager
  • Assist shop technicians with minor repairs as required
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional looking work area
  • Perform light shop maintenance duties
  • Recognize and note customer concerns and relay them to the Store Manager in a timely fashion
  • Collects account payments and credits (as required)
  • Perform car detailing duties (wash, polish, vacuum vehicles, etc.)
  • Other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver
  • Valid Class G driver’s permit
  • Ability to install, balance & mount tires (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the Burlington area (streets, landmarks, etc.)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous Automotive Service and Tire experience (an asset)
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work unsupervised and independently
  • Ability to work in a team environment
