Sales Assistant

We are looking for a motivated individual with good communication and organizational skills. The basic function of the Sales Assistant is to provide support for Estimators/Project Mangers on the Air Distribution Sales team and to provide accurate and timely support to our customers, while building and maintaining internal and external relationships. You will report to the Air Distribution Sales Manager, who will mentor and train you on the Price way of doing business.

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
Support the Air Distribution Sales Team with data entry and document management. As well as providing back up for various sales roles in the office.

This will include:
  • Order entry for newly received purchase orders from the Air Distribution Team.
  • Prepare equipment submittal drawings for review by mechanical consultants.
  • Follow up with customers on outstanding equipment submittal drawings.
  • Coordinate timelines and project schedules for ordering of equipment as directed by Air Distribution Team.
  • Place orders for equipment reviewed by mechanical consultants as directed by Air Distribution Team.
  • Self‐educate and attend webinars and training sessions provided by our suppliers to ensure you are constantly up to date on the latest product developments and software tools.
  • Maintain an understanding of our competitor’s product offering.
  • Collaborate with your peers to ensure all relationships are utilized to put us in the best position to be successful on all projects.
  • Ultimately, provide feedback and recommendations on new products and services to our customers.
  • Ultimately, develop and maintain relationships with internal sales team and mechanical contractors.
  • Provide customer service via phone and email for general inquiries and customer requests.
  • Occasional inside sales duties such as processing parts and warehouse stock orders.
  • Occasional post-sales duties such as warranty claims, tracking of shipments, and coordination of technical support.
  • Occasional management of our Bid Board by collecting RFQ’s organizing Bid Dates for Public Tenders Closing to the local contractors.
  • Coordination of customer/employee events. Organizing lunch & learn presentations for remote location, assisting in setting up open house and training sessions for in-house events.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:
  • Aptitude to learn how to read and interpret equipment cut sheets, building specifications, blueprints.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Internet Explorer.
  • Working knowledge of PDF editing software and document control.
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, ethical business practices, and a reliable team member.
  • You are a self-motivated, personable individual who is eager to learn.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • You have the ability to demonstrate, initiative and succeed in business development.
