What can you expect in this role?

• Partner with enterprise-wide business teams to understand their business problems and brainstorm meaningful and creative solutions.
• Design, develop and deliver reports, dashboards, and data insights that provide value to our business partners.
• Maintain and support existing reports, dashboards and other processes owned by the team.
• Implement BI leading practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Learn and use cutting edge technologies, such as BigQuery, VertexAI, Google Cloud Platform, Tableau Server among others.
• Participate in strategic discussions to enhance your business knowledge and skillsets
• Gain exposure to all aspects of P&C Insurance.

What do you bring to the role?

• University or college degree in Computer Science, Business with Computer Science minor, Actuarial Science, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in a business intelligence role, with P&C insurance industry experience will be an asset.
• Experience using big data databases and Big Query
• Experience on Cloud preferred.
• Hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards through visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau), data exploration and analysis tool (e.g., SQL, R, SAS).
• Working knowledge of project management methodologies (including agile development) preferred.
• Analytical ability to generate insights and present effective data-driven business recommendations to various stakeholder groups.
• “Can-do” attitude to solving business problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
