Business Analytics Manager


We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to originate the role of Business Analytics Manager, Chatr & Prepaid. Reporting to the Senior Director, Chatr & Prepaid Marketing, the successful candidate will be someone who not only can help drive efficient analytics and insights around our prepaid brands, but can also build and maintain strong partnerships, understand and align activity with our strategic priorities and influence, empower and engage a team to enable change and drive results.


WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Own and maintain the Prepaid model data structure by creating datasets, connecting to right data sources, data modelling through SQL and Power BI which power critical dashboards leveraged by the Leadership team

  • Champion Prepaid analytics and collaborate with internal clients at various levels to deliver actionable insights under tight deadlines

  • Innovatively and accurately interpret business needs and requirements to add value and drive actionable outcomes from data analysis requests/studies

  • Lead in-depth analysis of customer segmentation & customer behavior across Prepaid programs to provide recommendations on customer experience & marketing optimization opportunities

  • Lead in-depth analysis of operational metrics related to productivity

  • Deliver outcomes of analytics studies to executives via story-telling presentations and automated dashboards

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Proficiency in database management

  • Proficiency in a data analytics (preferably within the telecommunications industry)

  • SAS programming skills

  • Advanced SQL programming/query skills, strong RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) knowledge, intermediate knowledge of Power BI, automation experience preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to derive business-impacting insights from large datasets and to effectively communicate insights to multiple stakeholders and executives

  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with a proven ability to establish lasting relationships with clients

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferable in Statistics or Computer Science or Finance)

  • Capacity to thrive in an environment of constant change, unpredictability and ambiguity

  • Ability to inspire and influence across organizations to gain alignment and support on recommendations

  • Creative approaches that are solution/outcome-oriented, constantly looking for ways to do things smarter, better and more efficiently

  • Knack for zooming into the detail but adept at avoiding the trap of getting stuck in them

  • Natural or trained ability to quickly grasp both business and technical aspects of the role

  • A good knowledge of English is necessary as this role requires regular communication in English with customers and/or team members in other provinces.
