Job Campaign Manager in Scarborough

BRANCH: Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy (TZWC)

At the Toronto Zoo Wildlife Conservancy (TZWC) we inspire giving to fight extinction. The global rate of animal and plant extinction is now estimated at nearly 1,000 times the natural rate, and the extent to which humans are affecting wildlife has never been greater. In 2019 the United Nations reported that more than one million species are threatened with extinction due to human impact.

It is critical that zoos, aquariums, and conservation organizations work together to educate the public and take actions to stabilize, then reverse, this alarming trend. We partner with the Toronto Zoo to generate financial support to their wildlife conservation programs and capital projects by fostering a culture of philanthropy at the Zoo and in the community.

In 2022 the Toronto Zoo released its Master Plan, which charts a bold vision for new and enhanced facilities at the Toronto Zoo. The Wildlife Conservancy has made a commitment to raise $50 million by 2030 to support Master Plan initiatives.
