Responsibilities:


  • Acting as an engaging and friendly initial point of contact for customers in person, via telephone, email and the latest applications
  • Providing effective and responsive service to existing customers
  • Working enthusiastically with customers to resolve problems and potential problems in a positive manner while maintaining the customer’s positive relationship with TELUS Health
  • Working closely under Reimbursement team and other teams, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and inventory control
  • Provide and manage reports for internal and external clients
  • Participate in assigned projects

Qualifications


Required Skills & Abilities:


  • Excellent written and oral communication (French would be an asset)
  • Ability to effectively compile information, analyze data and make sound judgments
  • Ability to manage confidential information and protect privacy at a high level
  • Taking accountability of customer problems and ensuring that the client’s issues and concerns are resolvedin a satisfactory manner
  • Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot tasks in regards to Reimbursement and Claims Inquiries
  • Demonstrate experience with computer operating environments
  • Must possess Computer navigational skills with adaptability to various system applications
  • Results oriented; Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaboratively with other departments
  • Maintain a high level of performance under pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changingenvironment
  • Demonstrate ability in planning and organizing schedule to meet deadlines
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Customer focused; identifies customer needs and provides appropriate solutions through effective listeningand probing
  • Basic knowledge of Multi-Benefit Claims practices and procedures (asset)
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Commit to continuous learning
  • Demonstrate the ability to learn and apply learned skills to related situations
  • Ability to adapt with system changes

Required Professional Designation/Certification:


  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration or Finance

Required Experience:


  • Extensive experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Google Suites tools
  • 1+ years as Business Administration or Finance, preferably in Healthcare
  • 3+ years MS Office
