Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, document, apply and provide guidance on EDW development best practices in Wherescape systems, including 3D and RED, in modern enterprise data warehouse systems
  • Transform complex customer business requirements into effective, efficient, and maintainable enterprise-level solutions
  • Provide advice and recommendations on projects, tasks and issues, including the impact of proposed solutions
  • Research, analyze, support, and implement database solutions and changes on Snowflake Cloud data warehouse platform and MS SQL Server
  • Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database creating a data dictionary.
  • Ability to work with multiple data sources and types (structured/semi-structured/unstructured)
  • Modify existing data warehouse processes and objects as necessary to include best practice standards
  • Query optimization and Performance tuning of complex SQL stored procedures and queries.
  • Mitigate existing disparate data sources into the enterprise data warehouse

Requirements:

  • 5+ years professional experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or Data Engineer
  • 2+ years of experience in Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse platform and ETL development including Snowflake Bulk Loading, Snowpipe, Unloading, working with semi-structured data, etc.
  • 1+ years experience with Wherescape ETL
  • 2+ Data Vault 2.0 design experience.
  • Strong SQL programming experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Data Warehouse processes (e.g., ETL, OLTP, OLAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of best practices and principles for Data Warehousing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43.51-$81.61 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
