About the Opportunity:

As a Courier, you will be Atira’s ambassador on the road demonstrating the important work Atira provides in the community while maintaining our positive reputation. You will safely transport packages in a timely manner while treating everyone you meet with dignity and respect. You will represent Atira with professionalism and integrity by providing a positive experience at every touch point. Tasks include but are not limited to picking up and delivering packages, parts and other items from multiple locations including unloading and loading packages onto and off vehicles during drop-offs and pick-ups. Tasks will be varied and will include banking and shopping.

About You:

You are flexible and open to taking on new and diverse tasks whenever needed. You embrace diversity and inclusion and treat everyone you meet with respect, regardless of your differences with them. You have a well-developed sense of humour. You are effective in a fast-paced environment while managing physical demands such as lifting or maneuvering packages of up to 50 pounds. Additional Requisites:

All positions are subject to a criminal record review A valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s record plus a minimum of one year of driving experience with a full valid license. You are bondable. Lived expertise is an asset, as is living in the community in which you work. Atira strives to hire staff who reflect the people we serve.
