Delivery Driver Class 5 in Nanaimo
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Pre and post trip inspections on a variety of equipment.
- Maintaining an accurate logbook.
- Reporting vehicle issues.
- Delivering products to our Sysco customers on a preassigned route and schedule.
- Unloading product with hand cart and bringing safely into the customers designated delivery area all year round, according to all food safety regulations.
- Generating invoices for customers and obtaining signatures on all orders.
- A strong working knowledge of all health and safety procedures to keep you and others safe at work
- Keeping your truck clean and, when needed assisting with yard maintenance.
- Attending meetings
- All other duties as assigned.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Class 5 drivers License and clean driver’s abstract.
- Great communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to set goals, meet deadline and work in various conditions and a fast-paced environment.

Experience:
- Delivery driver: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Airbrakes Certification (preferred)
