The Service Delivery Division provides income and disability assistance services online, by phone, or face to face in our communities. We strive to ensure our services are reliable, responsive, inclusive, and accessible to all British Columbians who need our support.

The Operations Support Branch provides centralized operational support services for the Service Delivery Division (over 1400 employees, 83 locations, and $503M budget) that includes business intelligence, human resources, contracts, financial, facilities and asset management.
The Director, Analytics and Business Intelligence is responsible for providing leadership to teams providing reporting and business intelligence, analytics, and workforce scheduling to support delivery of critical social services.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, or Business Analytics and a minimum of three years of progressive related experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Progressive related experience includes:

  • Experience overseeing the delivery of operations support services such as, business innovation and business intelligence.
  • Experience establishing accountability frameworks, monitoring performance of programs and services, and achieving results.
  • Experience leading teams.
  • Experience building relationships with clients in order to understand and deliver on needs.

Preferences

  • Leading and coaching multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Leading development of integrated multi-disciplinary analytics and business intelligence frameworks and strategies, including data governance, design, implementation, integration, and usage.
  • Experience with the social sector (i.e. working on existing and emerging issues trends and policy initiatives related to homelessness)
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and managing a team responsible for complex projects and work assignments in a service delivery setting.
