As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Business Financial Analyst to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills.

The Business Financial Analyst's role is to assist in examining financial data and predicting future financial trends. Their main responsibilities include analyzing past market trends, evaluating financial risks, and predicting upcoming financial trends in the stock market to create investment strategies.

This position reports to the Lead Business Analyst.

What you will be doing:

  • Support annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes by use of financial models/tools
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for internal and external customers
  • Promote alignment of financial reporting across various business units
  • Assess and summarize financial impacts on the business (as directed)
  • Data model management within Vena (including Finance and Inventory)
  • Upkeep and enhance existing processes as related
  • Assist with developing and maintaining tools for analysis used in Power BI
  • Any ad-hoc quantitative analysis required by other departments as required

What you bring along:

  • Post-Secondary Education with a focus on Business, Accounting, Finance, or IT
  • 0-2 years of relevant analyst experience
  • VENA is a MUST to HAVE SKILL
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and work in a time-sensitive environment, while maintaining the quality and accuracy of the work produced
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
