Job Financial Analyst in Saskatoon

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Financial Analyst on a permanent basis on our Finance team. There are two open positions for this role.

This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Canada.

What you’ll do:

• You will extract financial data and reports from legacy financial systems and from JD Edwards (JDE) financial system to validate the data was converted correctly.
• You will audit financial data to ensure general ledgers and net income have not been affected by the conversion.
• You will develop and implement tools that will quickly and accurately manipulate legacy and JDE data to identify differences that need to be corrected.

The Team: You will work closely with team members on the Synergy Project team, Retail Audit Services team and will report into the Sr. Manager, Retail Information Systems. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovative thinking, and autonomy.

The Synergy Project is an innovative transformation as the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS) moves from legacy financial systems to JD Edwards, a world class financial system.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Finance and:

• Have a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• Have 1-3 years of experience in finance or audit (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
• A Chartered Professional Accounting designation is an asset.
