What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:


  • This position takes a holistic approach to inventory initiatives and is responsible for preparing analytics, presenting recommendations, and supporting partners (Planning, Forecasting) throughout the company.
  • Plan, forecast and report on Merchandise Margin & Inventory; provide proactive solutions to mitigate business risks.
  • Prepare & publish various time-sensitive weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly key financial & ad-hoc reports.
  • Prepare & review the stock ledger & other GL reconciliations to ensure completeness & accuracy.
  • Participates in Merchandising & Inventory related ad-hoc projects; provides in-depth ad-hoc analysis and financial/technical recommendations.
  • Support the team with systems modernization projects including testing and reconciling data


What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:


  • Post-Secondary education in a related field (e.g. Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Economics).
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience performing quantitative analysis.
  • Knowledge of database design/manipulation concepts; proven analytical ability.
  • Intermediate-level experience using MS Excel; intermediate-level experience using other financial applications such as Oracle EBS, or similar.
  • Enjoys working in a detail-oriented, multi-project environment with fixed deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, correctly estimate the time required to complete projects, follow-up on assignments, and keep team members up to date with progress.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
