Hockley Valley is constantly growing and is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Public Are Cleaner to join the team. The Public Area Cleaner would be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing public washrooms, lobby’s, hallways, pools and high traffic areas.

Job Duties: Housekeeping Public Area Cleaner

  • Responsible for cleaning, moping, washing, vacuuming, sweeping and dusting all public areas including - entrances, lobby, all hallways, stairwells, exercise room, offices, restaurants and lounge area
  • Responsible for cleaning glass doors, windows and pools
  • Empties ashtrays
  • Removes garbage and recycling from public areas
  • Ensures all public toilets are cleaned and stocked with toilet paper and toiletries
  • Vacuums and polishes elevators
  • Assists the room attendant in cleaning guest rooms

· Performs any other duties assigned by the housekeeper manager

Requirements: Housekeeping Public Area Cleaner

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in cleaning would be an asset
  • Ability to multi task
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent management skills

Work Conditions

  • Ability to remain on your feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs
  • Bending, crouching and lifting
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends & holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mono, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
