Hands on Custodial / Cleaning Supervisor
Oversee and Coach a cleaning team of 6-7 cleaning staff
Ensuring all work is completed on time and of good quality.
Conducting digital Quality Audit inspections of work
ensuring workorders get done in a reasonable time frame.

Requirements
- Fluent in English ( Hindi / Punjabi also beneficial )
- 5 years Custodial Supervisor experience
- 5 years+ Custodial experience
- Experience with Autoscrubbers, Spray Buffing, Strip and Wax Floors, Carpet Cleaning
- BSW Certificate (Preferred)
- Outlook E-Mail / Excel Spreadsheet experience

General Responsibilities:

· Cleans offices, classrooms, schools, common areas, washrooms, halls, food service areas and any other areas that may require attention.
· Sweeps, mops, scrubs, polishes floors and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
· Cleans finishes and fixtures including ceilings and vents, walls, furniture, windows and window coverings.
· Will be required to properly and safely use cleaning chemicals per manufacturer and Sodexo standards.
· Empties trash and garbage containers.
· Replenishes supplies.
· May shampoo and cleans carpets or buff and polish floors which will require the use of mechanical equipment.
· May be required to use specialized cleaning equipment / processes.
· Notifies Manager concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
· Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
· Applies all applicable provincial and related local safety requirements to all assigned work.
· Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
· Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
· Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.
· Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
· At times meet and build a working rapport with clients
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $42,000.00-$47,000.00 per year

Licence/Certification:

  • BSW - Building Service Workers Certificate (preferred)
