Job Description
HR Administrator
Position Overview:
The HR Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR related activities in a manufacturing environment. This position will report directly to the Regional HR Manager located in Calgary, Alberta.
This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity.

WHEN YOU JOIN US YOU WILL BE;
Within a manufacturing plant environment,
  • Responsible for sourcing, and full recruitment cycle of hourly positions
  • Conducting New Hire Onboarding
  • Overseeing timekeeping and payroll entries
  • Supporting the administration benefits program as front-line support for employees
  • Compiling HR reports and analysis data for leaders
  • Processing leaves including disability claims and coordinating Return to Work program
  • Performing administrative tasks and maintain related employee records
  • Other duties as may be assigned
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL BE;
  • Experience in HR and admin field for a year
  • college or university degree specializing in Human resources
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Understanding and knowledge of ESA in Alberta, Human Rights Code, and OHSA
  • Ability to organize workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strive to work in an environment with rapid changes
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Proficient in MS Office particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
