The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Inventory Control Supervisor, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for performing cycle counts on active products, raw materials, consumables, and other items throughout the production facility. The individual is also tasked with identifying problems with inventory and troubleshooting where the problems occur to keep an accurate inventory at all times and maintain an orderly inventory management system.

Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm

As an Inventory Control Coordinator you will:
  • Provides administrative support for operational functions including product and service procedures in alignment with quality assurance and GMP requirements
  • Performs Cycle Counts on inventory, investigates errors and problem solves discrepancies with appropriate site contact(s)
  • Work closely with the Inventory Supervisor to create processes and drive change throughout the organization
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the WMS bar code system throughout the organization
  • Leads month end inventory counts, reconciliation, and investigations. Provides reports based on the results to relevant department heads
  • Works closely with Planning and Master Data to ensure inventory levels are accurate and appropriately processed
  • Coordinate with Planning, Production, and other Inventory staff to stage Bill of Materials to ensure accurate lots and amounts are being processed according to the production schedule
  • Work in tandem with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance on batch record review as it pertains to Inventory, resolve any discrepancies found through the reviewal process
  • Working within the ERP to Track inventory movement/Consumptions within the warehouse for both controlled and uncontrolled products
  • Lead and oversee the destruction process by assessing documentation from the production team and destruction specialists to ensure accuracy
  • Review’s documentation and monitors production lots to identify for discrepancies
  • Develops and implements improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
As an Inventory Control Coordinator you bring:
  • 2 years minimum experience in a related field
  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management considered an asset
  • Effective presentation, report writing skills and the ability to work individually
  • Highly conscientious and attentive; uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong commitment to professional development and knowledge acquisition
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure
