Job Janitor in Sun Peaks

Role Proposition:

Have you ever wanted to work in a stellar mountain resort surrounded by incredible people? Do you enjoy golf, biking, and hiking in your free time? We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual to join our building maintenance team. Your role will include custodial maintenance duties, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, finishing, and buffing floors, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning and restocking restrooms. Accountabilities:

• Housekeeping and security of corporate buildings and equipment
• Maintain and ensure all safety standards and procedures in the workplace
• Reporting major safety and major repairs which are observed
• Complete work activities as delegated by the Facilities Manager
• Attend SPRLLP-sponsored orientation and training sessions
• Winter snow removal as directed

Ideal Candidate:

• Physically fit as the job involves physical labour
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds (23 kg)
• Ability to work well with the public and promote Sun Peaks image
• Dependable, reliable, and punctual
• Familiarity with commercial/industrial housekeeping/cleaning requirements.
• Bondable
• Oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Must submit a valid driver’s license to obtain a driver’s abstract
• Must clear a criminal record check
