Job Description Summary

Are you someone who has great attention to detail and loves working within a dynamic and diverse team environment? STEMCELL Technologies, Canada’s largest biotechnology company, is looking for a Manufacturing Cleaner to join our Manufacturing Clean Room team.

In this role you will perform disinfection activities that are essential in maintaining the cleanroom environment. Successful candidates will adhere to strict process Standard Operating Procedures, the Quality Management System, and safety protocols to support the production of STEMCELL's products that are sold globally.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow SOP (standard operating procedures) to perform disinfection of the cleanroom facility and non classified areas as per schedule

  • Record all activities in written and electronic documents in accordance with good manufacturing practice (GMPs) and good documentation procedures (GDPs)

  • Prepare and label disinfection solution, maintenance of cleaning tools, disinfection of all surfaces, and inventory replenishment.

  • Perform housekeeping activities to ensure areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Post secondary education, a college diploma or certification with 0-3 years of prior relevant work experience

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Flexibility to work weekends and 6PM - 2AM shifts

  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment

  • Familiarity with working in a quality management system is an asset
