Position Summary:


The Receptionist is the first impression for visitors over the phone and in person. We are looking for a customer service professional with the ability to multitask and provide a welcoming atmosphere. This position is responsible for greeting vendors, applicants, and walk-in visitors as well as answering and routing phone calls to the appropriate departments. This position will also provide administrative support to other departments within the organization as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of calls, and forward calls to appropriate department or personnel.
  • Welcome on-site visitors, determine the nature of business and announce visitors.
  • Answer general questions about the Company and provide callers with our address, directions, and other requested information when appropriate.
  • Stamp and organize all outgoing mail including FedEx.
  • Assist HR department with Culture and Wellness initiatives.
  • Support different teams needs such as Benefit, Legal, Unemployment, Tax, Corp HR.
  • Managing supply inventory and placing monthly orders for office management purposes.
  • Support logistics for conference rooms when meetings are scheduled.
  • Assist with equipment management and maintenance.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing office mail and key distribution by department as needed.
  • Supports sending employment verification to the specific vendor.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute various weekly and monthly activities including food orders and restaurant reservations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Positive, personable demeanor and great customer service skills.
  • Call center experience preferred, not required.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
