How You’ll Make a Difference:

Arkos Health is seeking a highly organized and proactive Receptionist/Facility Coordinator to join our team! The position will be responsible for overseeing various facilities-related tasks in the Chicago, IL market office to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Additionally, in this role, you will manage the reception area and provide exceptional customer service to our clients, visitors and employees. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage incoming calls, messages and incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings and appointments
  • Coordinate and oversee maintenance, repairs, and service requests for office equipment and facility
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for facility-related matters including office moves, furniture arrangements, and space allocation
  • Monitor and schedule incoming work requests for timely scheduling and report completion to direct supervisor
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and document preparation, other general administrative support
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly and follow up on corrective actions
  • Assist in implementing emergency procedures and maintaining evacuation plans

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or facilities management is a plus
  • Prior experience in facilities coordination or property management is desirable
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or customer service role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
