OSFM became its own agency. As such, the OSFM is a rapidly growing agency offering the rare and exciting opportunity to help grow a new government agency in Oregon’s executive branch.
OSFM in Salem, Oregon, is hiring for one (1) full-time, permanent Agency Receptionist (Office Specialist 2) position.
As the Agency Receptionist, you will provide administrative and clerical support for OSFM’s Equity & Inclusion Manager, Legal & Risk Manager, Facilities Coordinator, and the Fleet Coordinator including collecting data and information, writing correspondence and reports, and completing special projects. This position also performs reception duties at OSFM’s Salem headquarters including greeting and assisting visitors, answering phone calls, maintaining office supply inventory, and coordinating incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Minimum Qualifications (these must be described in your resume for full consideration):
  • Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
  • An associate degree in any field; OR
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Qualifications (these must be described in your resume for full consideration):
  • Requires a valid drivers’ license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Skills (these must be described in your cover letter for full consideration):
  • Proven exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated willingness to take on special projects.
  • Ability to ask questions and guide public to website or appropriate department for assistance.
  • Strong communications skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to be self-directed and take initiative.
