West Coast Neurology is the preeminant provider of comprehensive Adult & Pediatric Neurology and Neurosciences related care in Los Angeles County.
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our team of healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and other administrative duties. This position requires a strong knowledge of pediatrics and neurology, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Schedule appointments for pediatric and neurology patients.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-payments.
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
- Assist with filing, faxing, scanning, and other administrative tasks.
- Provide information about office policies and procedures to patients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
