WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Reporting to the Lead Back End Web Developer, this position will be responsible for developing solutions for external customers and internal teams and is someone who can work both independently and in a cross-functional team setting. The individual has strong abilities to understand requirements, provide guidance on initiatives, take an idea through the full cycle of development, and observe the impact on outcomes.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Developing application code while applying your knowledge of best standards and design patterns;
  • Iterating upon and building features for a performant and scalable web architecture;
  • Collaborating with peers and dependant teams on the development of REST APIs;
  • Managing, updating and designing database structures and queries;
  • Integrating and developing with Amazon Web Services;
  • Working with moden Java (11+).

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION?

  • Knowledge of modern Java programming language features;
  • Having entrepreneurial spirit - willing to experiment, test new processes, and adapt quickly;
  • Being highly collaborative - demonstrated ability to work exceptionally well in teams.
