Job Junior Project Coordinator in Brampton

Responsibilities

  • Organization and coordination of multiple construction projects from start to finish at an administrative level.
  • Communicating with clients, developers, jobsite personnel, and anyone else involved in projects.
  • Consistent communication with various office personnel (accountants and estimators) to ensure smooth running of operations at all times.
  • Preparing professional work orders for contractors
  • Devise high quality quotations for any purchase orders when necessary
  • Adhering to budgetary restrictions on a project-to-project basis
  • Keeping a flow of communication with the team with frequent status updates, and any changes.
  • Answer telephone, screen and direct calls
  • Assisting with all aspects of administrative management
  • Sending out and receiving mail and packages

  • Provide information to callers
  • greet customers, monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
  • ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries

Requirements

  • Any work experience in an administrative role, or in a construction setting is deemed an asset
  • High level of understanding on construction process, materials, and the industry as a whole is helpful
  • Comfortable with working on a computer with a high level of accuracy when entering data
  • Excellent communication skills through multiple channels (emails, face to face, and phone calls)
  • Education in terms of construction management, or any business administration type programs are helpful to have
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with constant deadlines, and a fast-paced environment is a key requirement. Must be comfortable in terms of multi-tasking.

NOTE - This is a dual role, you will be sitting at the front desk performing basic receptionist duties however the bulk of your day will be more focused around the junior project coordinator duties.
