Robinson Solutions, a subsidiary of TEAM GROUP, has over 30 years of experience in facilities management/industrial cleaning. We are currently seeking a General Labourer / Industrial Cleaner (Full-Time) to join our team. The position is located at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant in Cambridge. We have been partners with Toyota since the 1980’s.

NOTE: This is a full time position. We are unable to provide part-time work. Please apply if you are looking for full time employment.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and perform high-pressure water (Hydro Blasting - 36K) to rinse and clean residual matter from automotive and metal parts
  • Learn and perform Shot blasting to remove residual matter from jigs
  • Wash and prep parts up to 50 lbs - this is more Woodstock, not Cambridge
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment, hoses, pumps, etc.
  • Physical demands: prolonged standing, bending, lifting
  • Able to work in fast paced environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Industrial cleaning experience is a plus
  • No blasting experience required, we are happy to train
  • Must have flexible schedule (variable shifts)
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to wear PPE that weighs 43 lbs
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Able to work independently
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Must have reliable transportation

Payment:

  • Blasting is a specialty job that requires considerable training that starts at $20/hr.
  • After successful completion of 3 months probationary period, rate goes to $22/hr
  • Additional premiums such as $1/hr for working between 3p and 5am
  • Additional premiums as part of confined space team
  • Additional premiums as part of our Aerial lift team

  • RRSP program available after 3 yrs
