We are currently hiring a Front End Loader Operator for our Stone Yard
located at 270 Evans Avenue
Responsibilities:
- Loading both contractor and retail customers with bulk product
- Operating all Machinery in a safe manner always
- Operating a loader Volvo L70, CASE 621, CASE 521
- Move and stack materials
- Rotate floor stock
- Receive/process order shipments
- Experience in a landscape yard and/or building supply setting would be considered an asset
- Completing paperwork as assigned
- General housekeeping duties and other duties as assigned
- Keeping the yard clean and organized
- Follow loader operating guidelines and procedures
- Perform loader inspection
Requirements:
- Heavy Equipment Certification
- 2 years of experience as a front end loader operator
- Ability to handle customer questions professionally
- Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
- Knowledge of Precast or Natural Stone would be considered an asset
- Able to work outdoors with change in temperatures
- Ability to be a visible team-player and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible team-player attitude
