Glenmore Printing Ltd., a leading printing and packaging company, is seeking a skilled Gluer & Diecutter to join our team. As the Gluer & Diecutter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining gluing and diecutting equipment to produce high-quality printed packaging products for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate gluing and diecutting equipment to produce various packaging products such as cartons, folders, and envelopes.
  • Read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine machine set-up, sequence of operations, and materials required.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and adherence to production standards.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to machines as necessary to maintain production quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure all safety procedures and guidelines are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery of orders.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in operating and maintaining gluing and diecutting equipment in a printing or packaging production environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Knowledge of various types of materials used in packaging production, including paper, cardboard, and plastics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
