We are seeking a highly skilled COBOL Developer with experience in PL/SQL to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex COBOL applications with PL/SQL components. They will work closely with other developers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications with PL/SQL components
- Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and project managers to identify requirements and design solutions
- Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and application functionality
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to other developers
- Troubleshoot and debug applications as needed
- Maintain technical documentation and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in COBOL programming with PL/SQL
- Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
- Knowledge of mainframe systems and associated technologies
- Oracle Procedural Language (PL) - Programming SQL functions, triggers, packages and procedures.
- Oracle SQL – Analysing and writing SQL, both data manipulation language (DML) and data definition language (DDL).
- Knowledge of implementing ETL design pattern (extract, transform, load).
- Knowledge of COBOL sufficient to analyze COBOL programs to determine functionality, data flows and outcomes.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix and batch/daemon processing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
