bidadoo is now hiring for leader in the role of Market Development Manager to continue to support the explosive growth in eCommerce marketplaces and online auctions. In this role you will work with new and existing customers, actively developing the recruiting new customers and building long term customer relationships. You will work with a broad range of primarily used construction and industrial equipment, selling our remarketing, auction, eCommerce and consignment services. You will work with companies in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, machinery and equipment sales and rental, mining, transportation, utilities, government, etc.

Responsibilities include:

  • Drive revenue through fees associated with our professional auction and consignment services
  • Develop a market development / demand generation plan for buyers, prospects, customers, etc
  • Drive buyer engagement activities during the bidadoo auction and reMarketing process.
  • Drive add-on revenue and services, including: Warranty, Financing Referrals, Inspection Services
  • Develop database tools, processes and systems for customer development, retention, sales, profiling, drip-marketing, database marketing, etc.
  • Generate new business leads via customer engagement, list management,
  • Develop processes for sales retention – buyer profiling, service, contractor and end-user sales
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of new and used heavy equipment sales in the areas of construction, trucks / transportation, material handling, manufacturing, etc. – helpful but not required
  • Help drive revenue through fees associated with our professional auction and consignment services
  • Manage a team of market development representatives and customer success representatives to expand the bidadoo market demand
  • Develop and track team success metrics, projects, performance, and initiatives
  • Assist with post-sale activities in support of creating the best online heavy equipment buying experience in the world
  • Establish strong, honest, positive, long-term relationships with customers

Background and Qualifications include:

  • At least 5 years of proven sales and experience in sales, market development and/or customer service role
  • Experience managing teams of people
  • Proven revenue attainment record through proactive lead generation and consultative selling techniques – without scarifying integrity
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
  • Leadership experience in a call-center / market development organization
  • Good analytical, problem solving and research skills
  • Background in the areas which would be helpful include: industrial sales environment, including equipment, trucks, industrial equipment, etc, but not required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and applications
  • Familiarity and experience with internet technologies and sales as well as spreadsheets and research tools
  • Experience with buying and/or selling over the internet would be beneficial
  • Great phone presence and skills
  • Be an advocate for the company and our customers, and greatly enjoy selling
  • Self motivated with skills and attitude to excel in a start-up / entrepreneurial environment

Pay: $75,924.00-$84,435.00 per year
