Truck It Personnel is now hiring for a dynamic Administrative/ Dispatcher Manager Role in the Toronto area for one of the largest fuel distribution companies in North America.
Job Description/Requirements:
The Dispatch Manager role is a mainstay to our success. We seek a hands-on multitasker who can grasp and oversee the complexities of our industry, including regulatory standards, product knowledge, safety concerns and administrative processes. Time allotment: Customer Service (45%) – General Administration/Operation (30%) – Dispatcher (25%).
Duties:
- Develop and maintain good communications with drivers and other staff
- Dispatching drivers to calls, providing route information, location, and destination information as required.
- Providing front line customer service
- Answer phones, emails, and other online portals for clients.
- Manage operational sheets
- Providing daily reports regarding the incidents that arise during the shift
- Performs Accounts Receivable tasks including contacting customers.
- Daily Bank deposits.
- Regulatory compliance for trucks and drivers – including maintenance logs, driver licensing, terminal liaison in regard to driver management
- Manage routing for up to 10 drivers
- General administrative and operational tasks
- Dispatch loading instructions and inventory management of loads
Skills:
- Able to guide drivers on their routes
- Navigational competency
- Organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Capable of keeping effective time management, with the ability to multitask.
- Keeping clear and concise communication with staff and drivers.
- Knowledgeable with computer software and communication devices.
- Problem solving and thinking outside the box for further solutions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:am start
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Casual
Salary: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
