Position Overview

Under the supervision of the Front Office Manager, you will act as the team lead for the front office and assist with all aspects of the front office including Bell/valet operations.

Wage: $22-$23

Start Date: June 26th, 2023

Full-time/Permanent

Key Responsibilities

- Daily management of reservations and virtual check-in pre-arrival duties including payment processing, online registration verification, damage deposits.
- In-person check-ins and checkouts of hotel guests.
- Work with the bell/Valet team to prepare for peak arrival periods and any special group requirements.
- Complete daily administrative tasks while handling guest interactions via in-person, phone, email, internal e-messaging, 3rd party messaging.
- Facilitate dining reservations for Rhythm & Howl and ensure any dietary information and special requests are communicated to the F&B team.
- Provide basic concierge services such as 3rd party attraction bookings and other similar reservations.
- Work with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for arrivals and total room inventory is accurately reflected.
- Act as a Lobby Ambassador during peak business levels to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for all guests.

Requirements

- 6 months to 1 year of previous supervisory experience in an elevated setting.
- Hotel PMS experience preferred but not required. Knowledge of Webrez Pro is an asset.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and give direction to team members as required.
- Able to work well independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Take initiative in solving problems, especially in the absence of the front office manager.
- People forward mentality with a can-do attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
