Job Operations Manager in Toronto

Synergy Protection Group Inc. is looking for an experienced individual to join the management team at our head office. The Operations Manager plays a critical role and is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the organization, including the development of security policies, procedures, protocols as well as to ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures related to security, crisis response, emergency management, and duty of care.

Job Duties:

  • Oversee day to day operations, guide and support the operations team to ensure daily operations effectiveness.
  • Serves as a key point of client contact to ensure the delivery of high quality customer service for assigned accounts.
  • Evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary corrective action in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet client requirements.
  • Reviews site reports to verify post orders and client directives have been satisfactorily followed.
  • Manages and coordinates security programs to address a variety of issues including privacy, investigations, regulatory compliance, employee discipline, employee training and ensuring that programs meet appropriate regulatory guidelines
  • Serves as a member of Synergy's Support Team and takes the response lead role in investigations and incident management.
  • Work closely with the Director of Operations to monitor operational performance metrics and suggest operational improvements.
  • Performs other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the security industry
  • Prior management of retail/loss prevention experience is preferred
  • CPO designation is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience managing people
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders
  • Self motivated and acute attention to detail
  • Articulate, professional and able to communicate in a clear, positive manner with clients and staff
