Job Packer in Kelowna
Meat Packer (Kelowna, BC)
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Meat Packer will include but will not be limited to:
- Operate machinery
- Report any problems to Supervisor
- Uphold our safety standards and report any potential violations to Supervisor
- Monitor quality of product being produced
- Package and process meat products
- Responsible for full clean up of meat cutting area
- Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the label
- Extra duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
- Be willing to learn cuts of meat for packaging
- Must be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
· Possess good communication skills
