As a Packer, the successful candidate will report to the Production Supervisor and will support the operations, performing his/her duties in a safely and timely manner within the Mill.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Weigh, pack and load flour products in a safe manner
• Operate tote filling and packer systems, along with stretch wrap machines
• Keep the work area tidy and perform sanitation duties throughout the plant as required
• Complete and follow all Health & Safety training relating to the job
• Perform other plant duties as required and assigned by the Production Supervisor

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in a general laborer position and manufacturing environment is preferred
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Must be able to safely lift and stack 25kg bags
• Must be able to work in an environment that is exposed to dust
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to work shiftwork (12 hours shifts, working 4 on and 4 off with a Night/Day rotation which includes working weekends
