Job Product Manager in Toronto

The Market Segment & Services Senior Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.

Responsibilities:

  • Be SME for Digital Channels products and develop a good understanding of digital products to be able to recommend them to clients
  • Lead commercialization efforts for new Digital capabilities in the country. Work with regional partners to formulate product packaging, positioning and distribution strategy
  • Develop market management expertise with Core TTS products and innovative solutions. Develop and maintain up-to-date marketing collateral for internal and external audiences
  • Work closely with other product partners to solution channels offerings for new products. Write channels requirements Documents, review functional documents and work with technology teams to develop best digital experience for the clients
  • Have technical knowledge of UI, File transmissions and connectivity, APIs, ISO 20022 Standards, Virtual Accounts and knowledge of Accounts Payable process in any ERP systems.
  • Co-ordinate complex array of cross-regional and cross-functional Citi stakeholders to deliver optimal client outcomes
  • Develop relationships with Clients, Sales, Product partners, technology and all other functional partners
  • Support Sales in Client deal solutioning
  • Be able to manage multiple initiatives, identify areas for improvement, build action plans, and execute them with little or no supervision
  • Understand and comply with all audit and control policies; Identify control gaps and implement new controls as necessary
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in Digital Banking Channels with good knowledge of corporate banking practices in the Cash Management space.
  • Experience and understanding of Payments products Exposure to and understanding of business analysis, data and system analysis Proficient with UI's, File connectivity's, API's and be able to support technical discussions with internal technical teams
  • Experience in leading ERPs like SAP, Oracle Financials, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and their payment process is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-direct work efforts, meet deadlines, take initiative, and produce consistent high-quality work; Willingness to be a direct contributor and ability to multi-task
  • Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify and resolve problems Experience in supporting large, customer experience project, serving external customers, while managing cross functional stakeholders.
  • Team player with ability to evidence leadership and build consensus while working within a matrix organization
