About this opportunity
The Production Coordinator will be responsible for general coordination of studio operations and resources. The Production Coordinator will also be responsible for assisting in Studio Administration, Operation and supporting Studio Production Supervisor and Producers.
What you will do

  • Support Producers with client requirements: such as scheduling, crew holds, confirmations , space requirements, supplies and sets;
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and process for new freelancers;
  • Occasional catering orders for meetings and shoot days;
  • Provide proactive cost-saving suggestions for both TC and the client;
  • Communicate merchandise concerns/issues to all internal and external clients and their vendors in a timely fashion to meet extremely tight deadlines;
  • Closely monitor short and long-range deadlines to ensure proper manpower is available to all timelines-coordinate all workflow and resources to complete work and to ensure deadlines are met and standards of quality and accuracy are respected;
  • Must be able to prioritize work for multiple projects at the same time. Maintain a high level of productivity and ensure resource plans are developed to achieve lowest possible cost;
  • Studio Administrative tasks – entering invoices in to Globetek and airtable for payment, ordering supplies, handling company cell phone new account requests;
  • Tagging images submitted for content vault, manage process;
  • Assist with accepting package deliveries and occasionally covering front reception (back up);
  • Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards.

What you have to offer

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in graphic design communication or related industry (or work experience equivalent);
  • Proficient MAC skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other system programs
  • Additional software knowledge of iview, Microsoft Office, Filemaker, and Adobe Creative Suite is an asset;
  • Polite, punctual and enthusiastic personality;
  • A can-do attitude with proactive energy to aid us in our daily goals;
  • Comfortable with tight deadlines and high-pressure situations;
  • Able to “think on your feet”;
  • A professional demeanour when interacting with coworkers and clients;
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills;
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, problem solve and meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently;
  • Ability to support and foster the development of co-workers in a team environment.
