Full-Time Hatchery Floater - New Hamburg, Ontario

The Opportunity
The Full-Time Floater Day Shift position supports hatchery production and is assigned to a department based on business needs. The selected candidate must be available for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday production.

Responsibilities

• Egg Room duties as assigned
• Helper on the chick truck
• Sanitation
• Receiving duties
• Inovo Transfer
• Working full rotation in the separator area
• QA back-up.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Commitment to working as part of a team
• Able to work varying & flexible hours until job complete
• Must be able to work in a wet/humid environment
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be in good physical condition - able to lift up to 50 lb. overhead repetitively
• Must be able to follow SOP’S & schedules
• Must adhere to HACCP requirements
• Must adhere to Animal Welfare Practices
• Must have great interpersonal skills
