Job Description
  • Presents and promotes a positive image of business office and the facility to residents, family, guests, outside services and community.
  • Greeting visitors, determine purpose of visit, and direct to appropriate person/service
  • Answers & forward telephone calls, take messages, schedule appointments & schedule or secure transportation for residents.
  • Serve as a back-up to the Operations Manager & assist with financial related duties including invoices, payments, accounts payable, accounts receivables, petty cash, resident trust.
  • Maintain records as required and performs clerical work as assigned following Extendicare policies and procedures; maintain current, orderly filing system.
  • Maintain the inventory of office supplies, forms, and equipment.
  • Handle payments & trust deposits/withdrawals from families & residents & distribute mail.
  • Adhere to established department policies and procedures regarding quality assurance, fire, safety, environment, and infection control.
  • Monitor front door for residents at risk to elope
  • All other duties assigned
