As the Customer Issues Research Analyst, you will provide analytical insight to support strategic planning and evidence-based decision making in Development, Business and Building Services. In this position, you will identify problems and develop analytic approaches and solutions. You will apply data mining, predictive modeling and statistical analysis techniques to help improve workflows, automate processes and improve performance. Primary duties include:
  • Use advanced analytics to uncover insights and provide recommendations for business decision making.
  • Interpret and analyze data to highlight patterns and trends; develop a workforce model and resource plan to help the Business Unit understand staffing requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear research questions, analyses, insights, findings and recommendations.
  • Research and solve multifaceted analytical problems using quantitative approaches from large datasets related to customer analytics.
  • Visualize, create and maintain dashboards and reports that integrate and display information from building and trade site inspections and plans examination.
  • Interpret customer interaction data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports.
  • Transform raw data into more meaningful datasets and publish curated datasets with end-user documentation; answer questions related to published data attributes and dashboards.
  • Assess effectiveness of business processes and make recommendations on business process changes to influence service levels.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Data Analytics, Data Mining, Data Science, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in advanced analytics or a related quantitative field.
  • A sound understanding of statistics and statistical theory is required.
  • Experience using Public One Stop Service Experience Software (POSSE) is considered an asset.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are essential.
