Job Sales Coordinator in Calgary

What will you do in this job?:
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
/ Provide administrative support across all Pursuit geographies through effective communication with Sales Managers
/ Acts as a sales support contact in the absence of Sales Managers for colleagues and clients
/ Support the sales operations team with any projects and or tasks that require additional shared services support

SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ Monitor and action any inquiries that come through the Pursuit Sales Inbox.
/ Support and assist Sales Managers in all client requests and follow-ups by providing profound product knowledge and excellent client service
/ Create, coordinate, and update sales contracts and other sales materials, including timely follow-up and approval by Sales Managers
/ Organize and coordinate familiarization tours, receptions, site visits, and other events on behalf of the sales team; in-person participation may be required
/ Maintain the Pursuit CRM system (Delphi.fdc) by continuously entering and updating account, contact, and booking data.
/ Support the sales and operations teams with the issuance of promotional giveaways
/ Liaise with internal Pursuit departments (Reservations, Operations, Accounting etc.) as required to solve client challenges and issues

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
/ Collaborate and assist other Support Services teams with the goal of creating a cohesive team environment
/ Assist with tasks and requests for all markets, in the absence of other team members as required
/ Continuously work to enhance the client experience by identifying opportunities for improvement in service, satisfaction levels and product offerings
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
The ideal candidate would possess several of the below skills and abilities:
/ A degree or diploma, preferably in tourism/sales/business, with a minimum of two years of related business experience
/ You are an independent worker who takes initiative, a self-starter with assertive attributes
/ You possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and understand basic account management principles
/ You are resourceful, resilient, and adaptable with the ability to see multiple projects and tasks through to completion on a timely basis
/ You have the willingness and ability to ask why to fully understand different scenarios and relationships.
/ Travel trade experience preferred
/ Salesforce and/or Amadeus Delphi.fdc experience preferred
/ You are a highly detail-oriented person, who possesses strong administration and organizational skills
/ You work well either individually or collaborating as part of a team
/ You are computer literate and are comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite with a willingness to learn new programs
/ You can work overtime based on business needs and enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
/ You have a willingness to travel, as and when required.
