Job Sales Manager in Newmarket

The NewRoads Automotive Group is hiring a Sales Manager. If you have proven people, leadership and sales skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities of a Sales Manager role include:

  • Providing Sales Consultants with up-to-date product information;
  • Providing expert sales and negotiation support to all Sales Consultants;
  • Assisting junior sales staff with negotiation, closing of deals;
  • Setting and managing the achievement of monthly team and individual sales targets;
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to the sales team;
  • Setting sales expectations for Sales Consultants including customer expectations, as well as quota achievement;
  • Assisting in measuring the activities of each Sales Consultant to assure that their marketing activities will produce intended sales production;
  • Agreeing to achievable delivery timetables;
  • Assisting in determining staffing requirements and participate in hiring of staff;
  • Assisting with vehicle inventory management;
  • Continuous managers follow up in CRM
  • Monitoring incoming leads;
  • Ensuring outbound activity being done by Sales Consultants;
  • Assisting in planning and implementing sales-incentive programs;
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints;
  • Encouraging the development of lasting client-dealership relationships;
  • Encouraging a high level of extended warranty and other protection and accessory plans;
  • Liaising with finance, service and other departments to help facilitate sales;
  • Modelling and championing the NewRoads Automotive Group Pillars and Values;
  • Creating and maintaining a high level of morale and enthusiasm for NewRoads Chrysler products;
  • Performing other duties as required.
